Starting is the hardest part
Tasks pile up, priorities compete, or a project feels too big to begin even when it matters to you.
ADHD therapy
Knowing what to do and being able to get started can feel very different. Therapy offers space to work on everyday challenges, the frustration around them, and strategies that fit how you function.

Tasks pile up, priorities compete, or a project feels too big to begin even when it matters to you.
Time, transitions, routines, and follow-through can require more effort than other people seem to see.
Repeated frustration can turn into shame, relationship strain, or feeling that you are always letting someone down.
Therapy can help you explore how ADHD-related challenges affect your work, relationships, confidence, and routines. The focus is on understanding your experience and building realistic supports, rather than expecting willpower to do all the work.
Sessions may explore breaking tasks into smaller steps, creating more workable routines, noticing emotional triggers, and communicating your needs. Your therapist will discuss the support they offer and whether it matches your goals.
Difficulty concentrating can have more than one explanation. These therapy sessions are not advertised as formal ADHD diagnostic testing or medication management. If an evaluation or prescribing care is needed, we can discuss an appropriate next step.

Hi, I am Ally Hoffman Scott, MA, LPC. My work is shaped by professional training and by my own lived experience with PCOS, mental health challenges, therapy, relationships, and the importance of steady support.
Healing is messy and human, so my approach is eclectic and person-centered. I integrate solution-focused work, attachment-informed care, neurofeedback, CRM, EMDR, and somatic practices based on what each person needs.
Together, we create a plan that helps you reconnect with your body, your nervous system, and your authentic self. I bring gentle challenge, practical tools, and space to slow down, tune in, and show up more fully.
